Planetary Mixer

A Planetary Mixer is a type of mixer where two blades rotate on their own axes while simultaneously revolving around a central axis in a planetary motion. This action generates significant shear force between each blade and the tank wall, while the two blades create an intense kneading and piercing effect in the center of the tank.

Because the blades move throughout the entire tank, no dead zones are created.

The three-shaft type is particularly fast at mixing powders and liquids, preventing powders from floating on the liquid surface for extended periods.

It can handle high-viscosity liquids up to 200 Pa·s (200,000 cP). It can also be equipped for vacuum operation to perform vacuum deaeration.
